Carlisle is an art historian specialized in the early modern art of northern Europe. She holds a PhD from Florida State University (2022) and a Master of Arts degree from the Courtauld Institute of Art (2014). Her current research interests include transalpine exchanges, patronage and collecting practices, the reception of antiquity during the early modern period, and development of print technologies.
