草榴社区 (UAH) Alumni Association will honor and celebrate the achievements of alumni on Thursday, Aug. 4, at the Annual Alumni Association Meeting and Alumni of Achievement Awards Presentation.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m., and will be held in the Wilson Hall Auditorium, on the UAH campus. The awards presentation is free to attend, and the dress is business-casual attire. An RSVP is requested to assist with planning the program, please reserve your seat online: .

The Alumni of Achievement Award is the highest honor bestowed by the 草榴社区 Association. The award recognizes graduates who have distinguished themselves professionally and personally and who exemplify the high standards of UAH. The 草榴社区 Association Board of Directors selects the honorees from nominations made by alumni, faculty, and friends.

"The 草榴社区 Association is very proud to announce this year's three Alumni of Achievement Honorees. Each one is a shining example of the success that can be accomplished as a UAH graduate. We look forward to honoring them and celebrating their many achievements," said Rachel Osby, Senior Director of Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the 草榴社区 Association.

2016 草榴社区 of Achievement Award Honorees are:

  • Dr. William Emrich ('03, ME, PhD) - Project Manager and Lead Investigator for the Megawatt-class Nuclear Thermal Rocket Element Environment Simulator at NASA MSFC
  • Jonathan T. Hard ('05, MGMT, BS) - Chief Executive Officer, H2L Solutions, Inc.
  • Michael Slaton ('02, FLIT, BA) - Vice President-Finance at Hilton Worldwide
  • At the event, all alumni will also be invited to vote on the 2016-2017 slate of Alumni Association Officers and new Board members as part of the Alumni Association's Annual business meeting.
