草榴社区 has partnered with Rave Mobile Safety to provide UAlert, an alert system capable of delivering messages to your UAH email address, cell phone, and office phone. We have enrolled you in the program at no expense to you.

UAH will begin migration to this new alerting system beginning January 24, 2018. If you already have a cell phone number registered in your 鈥淧ermanent Address鈥 information in Self-Service Banner, you may receive a notification on your mobile device when the migration occurs.

We encourage you to login to Self-Service Banner to confirm your contact information. If you do not have a cell phone number listed in Banner under your 鈥淧ermanent Address鈥 field, we encourage you to add that number to receive UAlert messages. Please note that, based on your cellular service plan, your cellular phone provider may charge a per-text message fee for the delivery of emergency notifications to your phone.

To update your primary UAlert contact information, please visit . To add a primary cell phone for emergency calls and/or texting:

For students:
Under the STUDENT SERVICES heading, click on PERSONAL INFORMATION in the Student Records section. Then select "Update Addresses and Phones." Under the 鈥淧ermanent Mailing Address鈥 heading, click on the hyperlink to update the 鈥淐ell鈥 phone number or insert a new number by selecting the 鈥淐ell鈥 option from the drop down screen at the bottom of the page.

For faculty and staff:
Under the EMPLOYEE SERVICES heading, click on PERSONAL INFORMATION in the Self Service Main Pages section. Then select "Update Addresses and Phones." Under the 鈥淧ermanent Mailing Address鈥 heading, click on the hyperlink to update the number or insert a new number by selecting the option from the drop down box at the bottom of the page. Please note that if your office phone number is not correct, you should update that information by logging into and accessing the 鈥淒irectory鈥 tab.

Please note that you must add and update your primary cell phone number through the Banner Self-Service process described above. Your official UAH email address is automatically enrolled in Rave Alert.

You may add additional mobile phone, text, and email addresses by visiting the Rave Alert portal at on or after January 25, 2018. Your Charger ID and password will allow you to access the UAH Rave portal.
