June 10, 2019 When asked why he made a gift to the UAH Last-Mile Fund, Dr. William Wilkerson, Dean of the Honors College, said, Because small amounts can make big differences. I鈥檝e spoken with students forced to delay or abandon their dreams over really very small amounts of money. Nobody who can finish should have to delay or give up something that they鈥檝e worked so hard for. As a society and as a university, we can do better. Dr. Wilkerson鈥檚 reason is exactly the thought behind the UAH Last-Mile Fund.
