To help professionals stay competitive and continue upskilling, UAH is offering the Charger EDGE (Educational Discount for Graduate Excellence) program 鈥� a 25% tuition discount on master鈥檚 degrees and graduate certificate programs.

Who is eligible?
- You must be a new graduate student or returning graduate student who has been inactive for at least two consecutive fall and spring terms to qualify for the Charger EDGE tuition discount.
- The Charger EDGE discount cannot be combined with any other institutional (academic) aid or assistantships.
- The Charger EDGE tuition discount is not retroactive for current master鈥檚 degree-seeking students.
What are the Charger EDGE program details?
- There will be NO application fee for new domestic students applying to a master鈥檚 degree program or a graduate certificate program. (Value: $60)
- The 25% tuition discount applies to in-state tuition (Residents of Alabama and select counties in Tennessee (Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Giles, Lawrence, Lincoln, Marshall, Moore and Marion) only for new students admitted for the Fall 2025 term enrolled into a master鈥檚 degree program or a graduate certificate program.
- The Charger EDGE tuition discount is renewable for up to two calendar years.
- Students must maintain a cumulative UAH GPA of at least 3.0.
- To be eligible, students must complete the graduate admissions process no later than August 6, 2025. This means the application and all required checklist items must be received by Graduate 草榴社区s by this date.

- UAH offers more than 70 master鈥檚 degrees and graduate certificate programs. We have both on-campus and online instruction to fit your lifestyle.

What are my next steps?
- Select which master鈥檚 degree program or graduate certificate program you would like to pursue.
- Review the Entrance Test requirements. Many of our programs do not require an entrance test.
- Prepare your supplemental materials for the application. Depending on your program, you may be required to submit a resume, letters of recommendation, personal statement, etc. Be sure to read the requirements within the particular degree program you are seeking.
