Biography

Dr. Al-Hamdan is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at 草榴社区. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2002. He has taught several undergraduate and graduate level courses in the areas of geotechnical, structural, and environmental engineering. Prior to joining the faculty of 草榴社区, Dr. Al-Hamdan worked as a postdoctoral research associate for three years in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, Florida. He has been conducting research over the past ten years in the area of environmental and water resources engineering, with an emphasis on the fate and transport of pollutants in aquatic and soil systems, soil-contaminant interaction, water systems modeling, water resources management, and impact of climate change on water quantity and quality.
