²ÝÁñÉçÇø (UAH), a part of The University of Alabama System, is hosting the fourth annual UAH Engineering Showcase during Engineers Week 2025, Feb. 16 – 22.

Ruby Sharrard and Olivia Allen, two aerospace engineering seniors from ²ÝÁñÉçÇø (UAH), a part of The University of Alabama System, were selected to present their propulsion research at the University Consortium for Applied Hypersonics (UCAH) fall forum in Alexandria, Va.

– The Propulsion Research Center (PRC) at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø (UAH) has received a Lance missile display from Troy7, Inc., an aerospace engineering and analytical services company located in Huntsville, Ala.

The Alabama Space Grant Consortium (ASGC) at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø (UAH), a part of the University of Alabama System, has received a $20,000 donation from the National Space Club (NSC) - Huntsville Chapter to support a 2024-2025 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) K-12 STEM education outreach program

²ÝÁñÉçÇø (UAH) honored the achievements of inventors from two colleges and five departments who have been awarded patents during the past year.

Dr. Phillip Ligrani has won the 2024 American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Henry R. Worthington Medal for developing innovative micro, millimeter and macro-scale pumping devices.

Dr. Gabe Xu, an associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering in the College of Engineering at ²ÝÁñÉçÇø (UAH), has been selected to receive the 2023 University of Alabama (UA) System McMahon-Pleiad Prize.

Today, we celebrate the illustrious career of Dr. Robert Frederick, a trailblazer in the field of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and the esteemed Director of the Propulsion Research Center.

At the recent mentoring event PRC had the privilege of hosting an esteemed alumnus, Dr. John Blevins, NASA's Chief Engineer. Dr. Blevins, a notable figure in the field of aerospace engineering, honored us with his presence on October 20, 2023, at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
